Get thee to a Potbelly! If you are in Chicago around lunchtime, you need to hit Potbelly Sandwich Works. In the Loop, you'll find one in the 175 W Jackson building (next to the Chicago Board of Trade). I've seen three others within 6 blocks of that one.

The correct order IMHO is a Wreck on wheat with everything, light on the hot peppers, and a coffee shake. The Wreck is an Italian sub, a little bit of hot goes a long way, and you need to treat yourself to an incredible milkshake made with real ice cream.

Just save room for that Chicago deep dish pizza you're having for dinner.
