Boston, MA
Ah, Foreverlost
As a public service to you, I'm going to list the three worst locations I've experienced with Hertz Neverlost (ie, Foreverlost):
#3- Dallas, TX- Texas is one of those places where all the highways have access roads running alongside them. Foreverlost likes to make you switch back and forth between the highway and access road. Now if you try and pull a fast one and not jump to the access road, you see your exit fly by...
#2- Anywhere in Maine- According to Foreverlost, Maine does not exist. Well, parts of Portland exist. And I-95. But if you need to go anywhere else in the state, better print out the Mapquest...
#1- Boston, MA- I caught the 7:00 Delta Shuttle this morning. I planned for plenty of time to get to Logan, which is good because I believe I retraced the entire Freedom Trail in my rental Volvo before Foreverlost was able to find the satellite signal. Then as I drove along Storrow Drive, it thought I was actually in the Charles River. Finally, it told me to hit the Tobin Bridge, which put me in scenic East Boston.
To quote the Hertz site: "Because NeverLost is so easy to operate,...you're free to devote your attention to the matters that are most important to you - your business appointments, or the pleasures of sightseeing." I recommend the Freedom Trail.
